We provide a third-party assessment based on the standards developed by the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE). Our assessments include:

- Level III – Detailed Analysis of Capital-Intensive Modifications
Are you concerned that an existing building isn’t as efficient as it could be? Do you want to understand all of your energy options for new construction? With our in-house energy modeling we use the most up-to-date software to determine the most efficient design for mechanical and electrical systems, building orientation, materials, and lighting. From there, we can design energy measurement verification plans, and then implement, track and monitor these plans to get the best ROI. And, because we’ve been doing energy modeling in house for many years, we’ve been able to stay on top of changes to the U.S. Green Building Council requirements so that we can maximize the number of LEED credits in a project.
Net-Zero Facility Design
In 2012, we created a dedicated division of engineers at Kibart guiding us to the ultimate goal of net-zero energy consumption in building and facility design. We’re building a practical knowledge base toward net-zero through a systematic study of available and potential equipment, system design techniques and methods of implementation. As the costs of alternative energies continue to decrease, we envision many more opportunities for the use of solar, cogeneration, and wind power, along with super-efficient heating and cooling technologies, and high-efficiency lighting systems. For example, combination geo-exchange and variable refrigerant flow systems, energy recovery, and waste reclamation. All of Kibart’s skills and experience in energy audits and energy modeling can be applied to the ambitious (and we think achievable) goal of zero net energy consumption.
